As the world is changing rapidly, borders are being redefined. Global cooperation is increasingly giving way to the pursuit of self-sufficiency. As regional conflicts evolve into prolonged crises, a strong indigenous defence industry has become a strategic necessity.
As Türkiye continues to strengthen its position as a regional power and the defence industry enters a new phase of growth, FNSS is also embarking on a transformation fully aligned with this vision. This transformation is built on clear foundations: change, digitalisation, simplification and creating value through indigenous and national solutions. It is both an honour and a responsibility for me to lead this journey together with the capable and dynamic FNSS team.
Before joining FNSS as CEO and Member of the Board of Directors, I spent more than 27 years in senior executive roles across different industries. I had the opportunity to take on strategic responsibilities at leading organisations such as DaimlerChrysler, Sabancı Holding, İnci Holding, Doğan Holding and Nurol Holding. Most recently, between 2019 and 2025, I served as CEO and Member of the Board of Directors at Nurol Teknoloji, where we focused on turning long-term strategy into sustainable growth through new investments, technology-driven expansion and strong strategic partnerships.
At Nurol Teknoloji, the transformation we led—centred on R&D, innovation, operational efficiency, exports and sustainable profitability—positioned the company as a leading brand in its field. In 2023, the establishment of Nurol Technology USA and the acquisition of Germany-based ceramic powder manufacturer IndustrieKeramik Hochrhein (IKH) enabled us to successfully implement a vertical integration strategy. Throughout this journey, it was a source of great pride to contribute to next-generation armour systems based on advanced ballistic ceramics and to help bring new capabilities to Türkiye’s defence industry.
FNSS is a well-established company that has earned the trust of both the Turkish Armed Forces and international stakeholders through its strong track record, broad and innovative product portfolio, user-focused solutions and high-quality standards. With ongoing programmes such as Armored Vehicle Modernisation, Next-Generation Armoured Vehicles, Weapon Carrier Vehicles, KMC, ÖMTTZA and Air Defence Platforms, we continue to meet the expectations of the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) and our industry partners with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
We will continue to stand by the thousands of FNSS vehicles actively operating in the field today, under all conditions and whenever they are needed. Guided by the understanding that lasting customer loyalty is built on sustainable customer satisfaction, we will continue to act with this responsibility.
Our ambition is not only to respond to today’s needs, but also to anticipate and prepare for the requirements of tomorrow. Sustainable, measurable and mutually beneficial relationships are of strategic importance to us. By making our organisational structure more agile, we aim to further strengthen FNSS’s global competitiveness while continuing to create value for our industry and stakeholders.
At the heart of this transformation are our people. Our greatest strength lies in the knowledge, experience and motivation of FNSS employees. In this new period, we will further develop our company culture by adopting a participatory, transparent and innovative management approach that values employee satisfaction. This transformation is not only technological, but also people-driven. We will place strong emphasis on professional development, empowerment and teamwork. We will all find not only success, but also meaning in the work we do. Our culture is one that places merit, effort and integrity at its core. We will act with the awareness that lasting success can only be built on this foundation. FNSS employees will continue to be at the core of the company’s success, actively contributing to every stage of our journey.
We firmly believe that ambitious goals can only be achieved through strong partnerships. With this understanding, we aim to further strengthen our long-term, trust-based relationships with solution partners, subcontractors, suppliers and engineering collaborators. As FNSS evolves, we will continue to deliver our ongoing projects with consistency, while also creating new opportunities and shared successes in emerging areas. Through digitalised supply processes and lean, agile project management approaches, we will build more effective, sustainable and efficient collaborations across our ecosystem. Under the FNSS umbrella, we are committed to growing and developing together with all partners across the value chain.
FNSS is a strategic asset for our defence industry, our armed forces and Nurol Holding. Together with our employees, and in full alignment with Nurol Holding’s vision for sustainability and growth, I firmly believe that we will shape an FNSS that is not only stronger, but also more visionary. With a strong sense of responsibility, we will transform FNSS into a more agile, faster and globally more influential organisation. Together, we will ensure that this transformation results not only in a stronger, but also a more visionary FNSS.
